Family Comments: Mom really was an extraordinary person, always known for wanting nothing more than "kind words and gentle treatment". She was always optimistic and interested in everyone else, never seeking the spotlight for herself. She was strong of faith and she ministered to others during their time of need. It breaks our hearts that we couldn't be there for mom because of Covid, but we believe God sent others to minister to her. She shared holidays with us for many years and she was Granny to others' kids just like to her own. Mom was a Proverbs 31 woman and she was a blessing. We appreciate the joy, peace, and comfort given to her by associates of Alcoa Pines. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice or Saline Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund in Tull, Arkansas. On-line guest book at www.ashbyfuneralhome.com.
