WILLIAM (BILL) CARTER, 92, of Sherwood left for his heavenly home on October 15, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Hester Carter and sister Pearline Ball. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Joyce, two sons Rick Carter (Lorrie) of Sherwood and Larry Carter (Tina) of Maumelle. Three grandchildren Jennifer Bruce (Chris) of Madisonville, Ky., Justin Carter (Angie) of Wichita, Kan., and Grant Hilton (Catie) of Ballwin, Mo. Five great grandsons Neilan Bruce, Carter Bruce, Alistair Bruce, Edison Bruce and Huntley Carter. Bill had a lifelong career as an automotive technician for Lincoln-Mercury. He loved his family, camping and gardening. He was Christian and a member of Temple Baptist Church in Little Rock. His family would like to thank his wonderful caregivers Lacey, Tiffany, Leslie and Chaplain Walker from Kindred Hospice. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 20, from noon-1 p.m. at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock. All attendees are required to wear a mask.
