Alvin "Carroll" Cunningham, Sr.

Alvin "Carrol" Cunningham, Sr., 79, of Lonoke, Ark., passed away on October 17, 2020. He was born on July 1, 1941, in England, Ark., to the late Alvin Cunningham and Mary Irene Harris. Carrol retired from the State Highway Department after 30 years. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his step-mother, Rilla Cunningham, and half-brother, Thomas Davis. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Cunningham; son, Alvin Carrol (Lisa Dawn) Cunningham, Jr.; grandsons, Ian Carrol Cunningham and Lance (Allysha) Curry Cunningham; brother, Earnest Carl (Mignon) Cunningham, Sr.; step-sister, Betty (Jeary) Wheeler; step-sister-in-law, Jane Beel; brother-in-laws, Bill Sullivan, Jim (Diana) Sullivan, David Sullivan, Phillip Sullivan; sister-in-laws, Mary Freeman and Linda Sullivan. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke, Ark., with burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery.
