Terry W. Lambert, age 58, of Amity, went to be home with the Lord on Friday, October 23, 2020. He was born on July 30, 1962, in Arkadelphia, the son of Gerald Lester Lambert and Fern Garner Lambert. On June 21, 1985, he married Jawana Lee Duggan. He was preceded in death by four infant children; his father, Gerald Lambert; and his sister and brother-in-law, Treva and Dallas Henthorn. Terry was a 1981 graduate of Amity High School and worked as a poultry service technician for over 25 years. He had a wonderful singing voice and started early serenading the girls in elementary school with Elvis tunes. He continued to sing country and gospel and was chosen to go to Nashville to begin a recording career. He declined, putting his Lord and family first. Terry served as youth pastor for eight years at Amity First Baptist Church and then sang and traveled with the praise team of Pearcy Baptist Church. He currently was a member at Glenwood First Baptist Church where he enjoyed helping with Awanas while sharing his music at churches and events across the state. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Terry adored his family and was a friend to all. He is survived by his wife, Jawana Lambert; his children, Leah Lambert, Luke Lambert and Lydia Lambert; and his mother, Fern Lambert, all of Amity; his aunts, Floela Kashner of Greenwood and Kathleen Dockery of Hot Springs; his father-in-law, Richard (Brenda) Duggan, and his brother-in-law, Rex Duggan, all of Lodi; his sisters-in-law, Jett Duggan of Glenwood, Rinda (Kenny) Pinkerton and Joey Duggan, all of Lodi; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and three special friends, Rusty Garner, Stacy Howell and Greg Henthorn. Services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, in Glenwood First Baptist Church with Bro. Daniel Perrson, Bro. Erby Burgess, Bro. John McAnally and Bro. Johnny Baker officiating. Visitation will be Monday, 6-8 p.m., at Glenwood First Baptist Church. Interment will be in Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Greg Henthorn, Stacy Howell, Rusty Garner, Rex Duggan, Marty Dockery and Jarrod Graves. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Waqas, Dr. Thurston Bauer, the LVAD team, the CV ICU and the CV Step Down Units of CHI St. Vincent, Little Rock.
