Raymond Compton "RayRay" Hartlieb, Jr., 82, of North Little Rock, Ark., passed away on September 3, 2020, at the Little Rock Veterans Hospital. He was born on February 11, 1938, in Des Arc, Ark., to the late R.C. "Dutch" Hartlieb and Eva Mae Wicklund (Hartlieb) Amaden. Raymond graduated from Hazen High School in Hazen, Ark., and attended Arkansas Tech University. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was retired from the US postal service. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Anne Hagler (and her surviving husband, Jimmy). He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joyce Flynn Hartlieb of North Little Rock, Ark.; daughter, Cheryl Hartlieb Sanford (Garrett); grandson, Braden Nicholas Sanford; and granddaughter, Mary Kathryn Elizabeth Sanford, all of Springdale, Ark.; along with two nieces, Karen Hopper (Brad) and Pamela McKinnis (Mike). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at 10 a.m., at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke, Ark., with internment to take place at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. A brief visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.
