Raymond Allen Jacobs

Raymond Allen Jacobs, 76, went to be with the Lord September 18, 2020, in Houston, Texas. He was a Christian, a Mason and a Shriner. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Logan and Lula Myrtle Jacobs, and his daughter, Megan Alexandra Jacobs-Thrift. Allen is survived by his wife of 42 years, Cynthia Marie Jacobs (Texas) and his children, Jessica Allen Reed (Ark.), Robert Michael Jacobs – wife, Sandy Serio-Jacobs (Texas) and Shelton Logan Jacobs – wife, Susan Nicole Jacobs (Texas), and his grandchildren, Kyle Jacobs – wife, Jessica, and son, Corbin, (Ark.), Mariah Barling (Ark.), Loreli Barling (Ark.), Xander Jacobs (Texas) and Josie Thrift (Ark.). Allen is also survived by his sister, Vicki Lynn Mayfield (Va.) – husband, Bobby and daughters, Carolyn and Rebecca as well as his brother, Marc Hunter Jacobs (Va.) – wife, Karen and daughters, Emily and Annie. A celebration of life gathering will be held at Olmstead Funeral Home (501-362-2422) at 601 W. Main St. in Heber Springs, Ark., on Saturday, September 26th. Visitation with family will begin at 1 p.m. with a service beginning at 2 p.m. A graveside service will follow in the pavilion at Cleburne County Memorial Garden (501-362-2925) at 8701 State Hwy. 110 West in Heber Springs, Ark. 72543. All who knew and loved Al are welcome. A service in Houston, Texas, will be held on November 7th at the Houston Northwest Church in Houston, TX with visitation at 1:00pm and service at 2:00pmfor friends in that area. www.olmstead.cc
