Sherman McCool

Sherman L. McCool, 78, passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 in Pea Ridge, Ark. He was born in Benton County, Ark., on August 17, 1942, to the late Sterlon I. McCool and Wanda Goodnight McCool. Mr. McCool graduated from Pea Ridge High School in 1960. He settled and raised his family surrounded by friends in the community. He worked for Bob Maloney Ford until he retired. He most enjoyed his grandchildren and the Razorbacks. He attended Whittenburg Church in Pineville, Mo. He is preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Corn McCool; a daughter, Delaina Saylor; and a brother, Evan McCool. He is survived by two daughters, Deborah Palarino (Nicholas) of Colorado Springs, and Deidre Hendricks of Rogers; grandchildren, Riley Vanlaningham of Pea Ridge, Lauren and Nathan Palarino of Colorado Springs, Hunter and Lily Hendricks of Rogers, and Austin Jared Saylor of Centerton. He is also survived by his sister, Barbara Decker of Garfield. Visitation is at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge Thursday, September 24, 2020, from 5 to 7 p.m. Graveside service is set for 10 a.m. Friday, September 25, 2020, at Pea Ridge Cemetery.
