Marietta Heitman (Grammy) Knight

Marietta Heitman "Grammy" Knight, 72, of Benton, was resurrected to her New Life on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. She was born January 11, 1949, in Little Rock, Arkansas, the only daughter of Maribelle and Lloyd Heitman. Marietta was a 1967 graduate of Little Rock Central High School and received her Associates of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology. Marietta served the church as a pastors wife and lead Women's Conference. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 53 years, Steve Knight; sons: Blake Knight (Karen), and Tony Knight (Melody), daughter, Mary Kathryn Weindorf (Blake), seven grandchildren, and one soon to be great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Stephanie Michelle Knight, and grandson, Lucas Fillmore Weindorf. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, April 12, 2021, at New Life Church, 4200 Hwy 5 N, Bryant, Ark., 72022. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at New Life Church with Pastor Chad Denmon and Pastor Kimble Knight officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to New Life Church Saline, in "honor of Marietta".
