Lloyd Edward Bowen

Lloyd Edward Bowen, age 82 of El Dorado, Ark., passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado. He was born December 14, 1938 to the late Virgil Lee Bowen and Mary Ann Colvert Bowen. He is also preceded in death by one nephew, Tennessee Air Guard Master Sergeant Michael Buckner and one great nephew, Jonathan Silen. Lloyd was a part of Lodge #750 in El Dorado and a 33 degree Master Mason. He was also a welder for many years. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Betty Bowen of El Dorado; two sons, Stephen Bowen and wife Amy of Bryant, and Ashley Bowen of El Dorado; two daughters, Elaine Primm and husband Randy of El Dorado, and Tonda Burks and husband Edward of El Dorado; one brother, Billy Joe Bowen of Malvern; one sister, Margaret Ann Buckner and husband Gene of Maryville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Jennifer Hooter and husband Jeremy of Pendleton, S.C., Jarod Primm and wife Taylor of El Dorado, Drew Bowen of Cave Springs, Ark., Anne Bowen of Dallas, Texas, Tyler Primm and wife April of El Dorado, Ethan Bowen of Little Rock, Maxwell Bowen of Fayetteville, Hallie Samuel of Conway, Hayden and Caroline Samuel of Bryant; great-grandchildren, Marlee and Maddox Hooter of Pendleton, SC and Aubrey, Mackenzie and Wyatt Primm all of Eldorado; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
