Harvey Lee Langley

Harvey Lee Langley, age 81, of Benton, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021. He was born October 21, 1939, in Saline County, Ark., to James E. Langley and Shirley Wilson Langley. Harvey joined the Air Force and served in the Vietnam War. After retiring from the Air Force, he served several years as a police officer and eventually retired. Harvey attended the First Baptist Church in Benton. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Vickie Langley. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Lenora Langley; two sons, James "Eddie" Langley (Janet) and Whitney "Jack" Langley; four brothers, Randy, Roger, Darryl and James (Joe) Langley; four sisters, Eunice Wise, Carolyn Adcock, Janie Fikes and Hilda Kemp; five grandchildren, Leah Redmon, Amanda Hilborn, Nick Langley, Rachel Lane, and Jessica Cash; and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 16, at Ashby Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 17, at Peeler Bend Cemetery. Pastor Rick Grant and Rev.
