Bonnie Bedgood Ferguson, was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Bonnie passed away at the age of 64, in the early morning of April 15, 2021, in the clasp of the hands of her husband and son. Bonnie is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jim Edd Ferguson, son and daughter-in-law Jef and Angela Ferguson, her parents, Bill and Doris Bedgood, and her brother and sister-in-law, Glen and Laura Bedgood. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Carolyn Ferguson and numerous sisters-in-law, and brothers-in law, Jamie Fleetwood and husband Lawrence, Jan Humphries, Susan Henderson, Dann Ferguson and wife Michelle, and Hugh Ferguson and wife Lorrie. She had beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends too numerous to name here. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, James E. Ferguson. Bonnie graduated from Sweetwater, Texas, High School and went on to attend Western Texas College. She then moved to West Helena, Arkansas, where she attended, graduated and worked at Phillips County Community College. It was in Helena that she met the love of her life, Jim Edd, when they were both attending the same college ministry Sunday School party. Bonnie was an active volunteer with many interest and hobbies. She was a preschool Sunday School teacher, a parent volunteer at her son's schools and a tireless and devoted 4-H "mom" for years. She had many hobbies including sewing, crochet, and crafting, but she was especially gifted at cooking and quilting. She won many Arkansas State Fair ribbons for her cooking and baking, and her beautiful quilts will continue to bring joy and warmth to her family and friends.
