Ken Martin Simmons

Ken Martin Simmons age 74, of New Edinburg, Ark., died Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at his home. He was born October 26th, 1946, in Warren, Ark., a son of the late Erwin Cap Simmons and Opal Martin Simmons. Ken spent his career in sales, he had many years of service and a retirement with Sysco Food Services, Bill and Ralphs Wholesale Foods Inc, and in his later years, he worked in sales for the jewelry store, Gentle Touch in Fordyce, Ark. Ken graduated from the New Edinburg School system and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Ken served on the Warren Fair and Marketing Board, he loved to watch his grandkids in sports, hunting, fishing and watching the birds he had coming to his feeders. He is survived by his wife whom he married June 20th, 1965, at Emmaus Baptist Church, Mrs. Judy Wagnon Simmons; his son, Quinn Simmons and spouse, Christy, New Edinburg, Ark.; and his daughter Delle Simmons, New Edinburg, Ark.; three grandchildren, Quinn Simmons II, Cameron Simmons, and Cole Simmons. Funeral services 2 p.m. Saturday, April 24th at Frazer's Chapel. Burial in Moseley cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Visitation 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday evening at Frazer's Chapel.
