SISTER EVERLENA JACKSON transitioned to glory on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Baptist Health Medical Center, Little Rock, Ark. She was born in Providence, La., on March 30, 1922. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Martha Caples, her six siblings and her husband, Shedrick Jackson. She is survived by two daughters, Earnestine Phillips and Mable Jenkins, three granddaughters, seven great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren and two great-great-great-grandchildren; one niece, four nephews, three great-nieces; cousins and other family members and friends. Everlena lived a full and useful life and gave much more than she received while she was with us. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. A walkthrough viewing on Tuesday August 3rd from 2-4:30 p.m., at O.T. Smith Memorial Chapel/KSFCS. Family Hour Tuesday 6-7 p.m. The Celebration of her life will take place on Wednesday, August 4th at 11 a.m., both will be at Christ Temple Cathedral Church, 1923 S. Arch Street, Little Rock, Ark. Interment will be at Little Rock National Cemetery on Roosevelt Road, Little Rock, Ark., at 12:30 p.m. Kelly Smith Funeral & Cremation Services (8424 Kanis Road * 501-612-5607) will be serving the Jackson families.
