Edna Lucille Brooks Couch

Edna Lucille Brooks Couch, age 97, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed from this life Tuesday, August 3, 2021. She was born December 13, 1923, in Fayetteville, Ark., a daughter of the late Claude T. Brooks and Grace Carney Brooks. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Leland L. Couch. Edna was retired from Ozarks Electric Co-Operative, where she served as a receptionist for over thirty years, was a member of Elkins Church of Christ, a former member of the Washington Regional Medical Center ladies auxiliary, where she volunteered in the gift shop. Survivors are a daughter, Cheryl Couch Ledford (Buddy) of Fayetteville, Ark.; a sister, Margaret Murphy of Fayetteville, Ark.; a brother, Charles Brooks (Carolyn) of West Fork, Ark., and a brother-in-law, Larry R. Couch (Ann) of Springdale, Ark. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, August 5, at Nelson Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Visitation begins at 1 p.m., Thursday, at Nelson Berna.
