Mary Dell Brown

Mary Dell Brown, 93, of Eudora, Ark., passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021. Mary was born July 27, 1928, in Eudora, Ark., to the late George Spencer Jackson and Mary Murphree Ritter. Mary owned and operated Browns Western Wear for many years. She was very active and enjoyed attending rodeo activities with her children. Mary was a member of Omega Baptist Church where she taught Children's Sunday school and helped with Vacation Bible School. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Johnie Brown; daughter, Susan Brown; son, Carl Brown and sisters, Hazel Gene Etue and Lucille Miller. Survivors include her sons, Billy (Joy) Brown of Va., John (Sandy) Brown of Brookshire, Texas, Tommy Brown of Eudora, Ark., and James (Jolene) Brown of Eudora, Ark.; daughters, Mary Huff (Joseph) of Eudora, Ark., Hazel Brown of Eudora, Ark., and Lois (David) Ashley of Kilbourne, La.; sisters, Nell Yoho of St. Peters, Mo., Lois Ballinger of Benton, Ark., Frances Humphries of Springdale, Ark., Jo Ann Burns of Montrose, Ark., and Brenda Brown of Kilbourne, La.; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 2:30-3 p.m., Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery Pavilion in Eudora, Ark. Graveside service will follow at 3 p.m., at the pavilion with Rev.
