Anne Marie Brush, 64, of Avoca, Ark., passed away November 22, 2020, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born January 15, 1956 in Denver, Colo., to the late Adelbert Eugene "Gene" Wright and Janet "Jan" Marie Wright. Jan moved the family from Colorado to Arkansas after the passing of Gene in 1973. Anne loved being outdoors, being a grandma, listening to and playing music with friends, and studying astronomy. She was a mother and friend to all, loved to laugh, and lived each day to its fullest. Anne dedicated 26 years of her life to her career in healthcare. She began as a nurse's aide then completed an Associate of Applied Science degree in Respiratory Therapy at West Ark in Fort Smith, Ark. She worked at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Okla., Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark,, and retired in 2007 from Mercy Medical Center in Bentonville, Ark., where she was a cardiopulmonary rehabilitation specialist. Anne developed many close relationships with patients and colleagues alike through her genuine interactions, dedication, and caring nature. She is preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Robert "Bob" Smrt., brother, Stephen Wright, and sister-in-law Alicia Russell. Anne is survived by her loving husband Robert "Bob" Brush, son Erik Greene, daughter and son-in-law Micall and Kenneth Bachman, Daughter, Jordan Greene, stepson Ethan and daughter-in-law Amanda "Mandy" Brush, and stepson Adam and daughter-in-law Kerri Brush. Surviving siblings include her sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Jerry Cordray, sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Bobby Coker; brother, Dan Wright, and sister and brother-in-law, Margie and Roger Johns. Surviving grandchildren include Kate Greene, Lydia Wagner, Macie Bachman, Carter Bachman, Alex Brush, Evan Brush, and Ellington Rae Brush. Anne is also survived by many nieces and nephews, who she loved and touched deeply. Her final resting place was in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Brightwater, Ark. A celebration of life and services will be at 2 p.m., on August 21, 2021 at the First Methodist Church, Third and Elm, Rogers, Ark., with Associate Pastor Ron Hays officiating. A fellowship gathering of stories about Anne is planned after the services at the Brush Residence, 12913 North Old Wire Road, Rogers, Ark.
