Carrol Lee Worthen, 84, of Pine Bluff, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021. He was born November 12, 1936 in Grapevine to the late Hoyt and Hazel Ashcraft Worthen. Carrol was reared in both Oregon and Grapevine. He worked 38 years at Cotton Belt Railroad and retired as a yard master. Carrol proudly served in the National Guard and was also a Mason. He loved to ride his 4-wheeler. Carrol was a member of East Side Baptist Church. Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Gaylon Worthen; sister, Rita Worthen; and two infant brothers. Carrol is survived by his wife, Pat Eubanks Worthen, whom he married September 18, 2006, in Pine Bluff; daughter, Patti Worthen McVay (Joe); son, David Scott Worthen; stepson, Steven Kimsey; grandchildren, Crystal McVay, Chris McVay (Miranda), Kristi Worthen and Alissa Kimsey; great-granddaughter, Khloe Blevins; brother, Jesse Worthen; nephews, Dean Worthen, Anthony Worthen, Robert Worthen, and Jeffrey Worthen; and niece, Sherry. Funeral service will be 3 p.m., Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Ralph Robinson and Son. Masks will be required. Burial will be in Grapevine Cemetery.
