Aaron Williams Eddy

Aaron Williams Eddy, 66, of DeWitt passed away August 26, 2021. He was born April 24, 1955, in Pine Bluff to Frank Chandler Eddy, Jr. and Caroline Williams Eddy. Aaron graduated from Arkansas Tech with a bachelors degree in psychology. He retired from the Department of Human Services as a case worker after working there over 30 years. Aaron was a member of First Christian Church and was a lifelong farmer. He enjoyed being a hobby gardener, was a rock collector, and avid academic. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Frank Chandler Eddy, III. Aaron is survived by his wife of 46 years, Rita Murphy Eddy; three children, Maria Jackson (Greg) of Gillett, Michael Eddy (Maggie) of Mena, and April Rose Buie (Michael) of Cherry Valley; four grandchildren, Jack Jackson, Savannah Youngblood, Weston Youngblood, and Atticus Buie; and two brothers, Bruce Eddy of Goshen, Ark., and Danny Eddy of Bono, Ark. There will be a private memorial in Mena, Ark., at a later date. Due to the Covid pandemic, please no home visitation. Cards and letters are appreciated.
