Thomas R. (Tommy) Bledsoe

Thomas R.(Tommy) Bledsoe, was called home by the Lord, Sunday, November 28, 2021. He was born August 22, 1927, in Arkadelphia, Ark., to the late Thomas Watson and Janie Smothers Bledsoe. He married the love of his life, Virginia Dee Ryan, in 1946. They spent 64 amazing years together until her passing in 2010. He then met and married Imogene Nelson Oaks in 2012 and once again suffered the loss of a spouse upon her passing in 2017. Tommy is also preceded in death by his brothers, Clyde and Lawrence Bledsoe, and sisters, Geneva Golden, Eunice Melton, and Mary Jane Jones. He leaves behind a legacy of love to his daughters: Beverly (Terry) Paff of North Little Rock, Ark., Gail (Richard) Schultz of Hot Springs Village, Ark./Port Charlotte, Fla., and Karen (Mark) Ragar of Flower Mound, Texas; his pride and joy grandchildren: Jennifer (Michael) Blanscet, Jeff (Sally) Cordell, Brad Cordell, Ryan Ragar, Adam Ragar; five great-granddaughters, two great-grandsons, and many cherished nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Tommy will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 2 p.m., and will include visitation an hour before the service at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home, 517 Clay St, Arkadelphia, Arkansas, 71923.
