John (Jack) Bernard Lausen

Bella Vista, AR, 1933 - 2021

Jack Lausen, of Bella Vista, died peacefully on September 8, 2021, surrounded by family.
Preceded in death by granddaughter, Kathryn Suzanne Frank; parents, Gertrude Rose (nee Drake) and Russell Lausen; brothers, James, Arthur, Thomas Lausen; and sister, Marjorie Meyer; sister-in law, Beverly Lehmann.
Survived by his wife of 66 years, Shirley; sons, John P., Timothy (Shelly), Christopher; and daughter, Jane (Mike) Miller; brothers, Russell (Bonnie), Gerald (Judy), sisters-in-law, Marjorie and Beverly; grandchildren, Angela (Geoff), Andrew (Emily), Amy (James), and Molly; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Jack graduated from vocational high school in 1951. He was co-owner of American Engraving, and a Scoutmaster for 10 years, which he really enjoyed, and received the Silver Beaver Award for leadership.
Jack enjoyed fishing, golfing, camping, traveling, and loved to play cards and spend time with family and friends.
There will be a memorial mass at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Bella Vista on Thursday, December 9, with visitation at 9:30 a.m., and mass following at 10 a.m.
