Darrell "Poncho" Marsh, 70, of Bentonville, passed away on December 15, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers. He was born on July 7, 1951, in Pierre, S.D., to Charles Eli Marsh and Thelma Garber Marsh. Poncho served in the Arkansas National Guard for eight years. He served as the mayor of Cave Springs for 12 years. He was the co-owner of Triple D Investments. He worked at Shores Hardware in Cave Springs for over 15 years. He worked in construction for several years and managed Hertz Equipment Rental for 12 years. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Elm Springs where he served as a deacon. He was an avid fisherman. Poncho enjoyed metal detecting and traveling to Colorado. He is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Ginger Marsh; and two nephews, Dallas Marsh and Tracy Marsh. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Patty McKee Marsh; one daughter, Jennifer Hunt; two brothers, Dannie Marsh and Dale Marsh (Cindy); one sister, Joanie Haden (Sam); and two grandchildren, Kayteigh Hunt and Krista Hunt. Services will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 1 p.m., at Lakeview Baptist Church in Lowell with Pastor Derry Birdsong officiating. Pallbearers will be Charlie Baird, Kevin Marsh, Chuck Bell, Joey Grimsley, Steve Brown, and Casey Haden. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Marsh, Rocky Haden, Denny Marsh, Chad Bell, and Allen Haden. Interment will be at Cave Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lakeview Baptist Church. Online condolences can be left at www.siscofuneral.com
