Betty Joyce Greene

Betty Joyce Greene, 75, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021. Betty was born and grew up in Little Rock. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She graduated from Little Rock Central in 1963 and had a successful and rewarding career as an insurance agent. She was preceded in death by her parents, Doyle and Pauline Henderson, and her sister, Kay Bryan. She is survived by her brother, Jerry Henderson, and her nephew, Tanner (Amanda) Bryan. Throughout her life Betty was a fun loving person who enjoyed her many friends. She had mastered the art of appreciating the simple joys of life. She was always a generous and loving sister to her brother, Jerry, and was beloved aunt Betty to her nephew, Tanner. She could always bring a smile with her wry and witty sense of humor. Despite the many health challenges in her later years, she remained graceful and stoic. She was fiercely independent and always thankful for her blessings. She courageously retained a cheerful and optimistic outlook despite her physical limitations. Due to COVID-19 considerations, there will be a family graveside service.
