Gladys Surratt Gulley

Mrs. Gladys Surratt Gulley, 91, was born on July 9, 1929. She transitioned to heaven on February 10, 2021. Mother Gulley was the first born to the union of Samuel Stanley Surratt and Equilla Evans Surratt in Ferda, Ark. She was preceded in death by both parents; husband, Leroy Gulley Sr.; sister, Myrtle Surratt Abraham; and one son, Leroy Gulley Jr. She married Leroy Gulley Sr. in 1947. To this union ten children were born. She relocated to Detroit, Mich., for several years and returned home to Little Rock, Ark., some 40 years ago. She completed GED and CNA certificates and worked on staff at a local Nursing Home. She leaves to cherish her memory nine children: Mary Belle, Charles Gulley, Stanley Gulley, Billy Gulley, Jacqueline Edwards, Shirley Todd, Bobby Gulley, Gary Gulley, and Teresa Green. Public viewing at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S Chester Street Little Rock on February 26, 2021, from 12 – 4 p.m. Family visitation will be from 5 - 6 p.m. Funeral services are 11:00, February 27, 2021, at St. Mark MBC 3725 Hwy 161, NLR. Arrive early for COVID 19 protocols. Burial at Arkansas Memorial Gardens 8705 Hwy 161, NLR, Ark.
