Alec Paul Lisko, 34, of Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021. He was born January 27, 1987 in Stuttgart. He graduated from the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts in 2006 and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2010. He joined the Peace Corps and spent 27 months teaching English in Azerbaijan, then spent another two years teaching English in Daegu, South Korea. Alec's love of travel, exploration, and appreciation of other cultures allowed him to spend time in 20 countries covering four continents. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lisko; aunt, Kathleen Lisko Elam; uncle, Michael Lisko; uncle, Jimmy White; aunt, Tonya White; grandfather, Jimmy Donald White; and grandmother, Mattie Dollar. Alec is survived by his mother, Vicki Koenig; sister, Kimberly Jackson; niece, Ella Gray Jackson; paternal grandparents, Paul and Betty Lisko; uncle, Ronnie (Dianna) White; cousins, Whitney (Amanda) White, Natalie (Trey) Scharf, Tiffany White, and Colton White; godmother, Melanie Ferguson; and close friends, Michael Armstrong, Emily Morozov, Kat Griffin and Sarah Black. A celebration of Alec's journey will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, February 27, at Stuttgart Harvest Church, 607 S. Park Avenue. A live stream will be available online (more information to come).
