Anna Lee Collins Falls, passed away on February 24, 2021, at St. Bernard's Medical Center surrounded by her loved ones. She went peacefully on the wings of angels to be joyously reunited with those who have gone before. Anna Lee was born in Otwell, Ark., on 02/10/1938. She graduated from Valley View High School with honors in 1954 at the age of 16. She thereafter enrolled at ASU where she was active in ROTC, achieving the rank of Colonel. While at ASU, she met Frank Falls, who would become her husband of 57 years. Anna Lee worked as a seamstress, wallpaper hanger, U.S. Census taker, Christmas wreath-maker, Girl Scout leader and an avid sports fan of whatever sports her children were playing. Anna Lee was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Franklin Falls; her parents, Hazel Beatrice and Carter Elvis Collins, and sister, Jan Collins Davis. Anna Lee is survived by her children, Cindy Falls (Sandy), Doug Falls, Derek Falls (Amber); grandchildren, Leslie Hancock, Brian Falls, Amy Falls, Jake Falls, and Nick Falls; great-grandchildren, Blair and Rhett Hancock; her sisters, Patsy Gerber, Nelda Simpkins (Billy Jack), Fay Westmoreland, Sherry Turman (Rick); brothers Cletis Collins (Shirley) and Ellis Collins and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be Monday, March 1, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Randy Simpkins officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the service. Honorary pallbearers for Anna Lee are her Wednesday Breakfast Bunch: Ann Brooks, Charlene Gairahan, Ruth Keisker, Judy DeVazier, JoAnn Hansen, Sharon Beadles, Alita Wiggins, and Nancy Hogue.
