Kenneth Leon Johnson, 82, of Fordyce, passed away Friday January 1, 2021. He was born March 2, 1938, in Kingsland, Ark., to the late Henry and Mary Jarrett Johnson. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Frances Cearley Langford. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jo Ann Stone Johnson; one brother, James (Guylene) Johnson of Heber Springs; brother-in-law, Cecil (Linda) Stone of McGehee, brother-in-law, Tracy (Linda) Stone of Kansas City, Mo; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was a member of Kingsland First Baptist Church, where he served as Sunday School teacher and superintendent. He served as a deacon and treasurer for many years. He was a retired inspector for the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department. His hobbies included fishing and cheering on the Kingsland Greyhounds. And he loved working for Klappenbach Bakery. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 6th, at Williams Cemetery in Banks with Rev. Robert Black officiating.
