Lula Mather Watson

Lula Mather Watson, age 80, of Grapevine, went to be with her Lord on Monday, January 4, 2021. She was born June 21, 1940, to the late Clarence and Mary Wallace. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Watson; and siblings, Ruby Faye Wallace, Smith Wallace and Willa Mae Wallace Harness. She was a retired CNA and a personal caregiver. She was also a member of Bethany No. 1 Missionary Baptist Church in Grapevine. She is survived by her children, Elva Ann Morris, Willis Wade Watson and his wife, Teresa; grandchildren, Amanda Clark, Cassandra Duncan (Chris), Mark Boyd "Boydie" Morris Jr., Wendy McKinzie, Fever McElyea (Cortney), Nita Mullins (Jerry); 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Hazel Watson, Earl Wallace, Paul Wallace, Frances Simpson, Mary Helen Regions, Henry Wallace, and Nell Johnson; numerous nieces; nephews; family and friends. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Friday, January 8, 2021, at Davis Cemetery in Grapevine. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until service time.
