Dean Krisell Staton, age 83, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021. Born Mary Dean Krisell on December 28, 1937, at Humnoke, she was a daughter of the late Moses Hobart "M. H." Krisell and Jessie Edna Matthews Krisell. She lived her early life in Lonoke County and attended school at England. She married Harold Lloyd Staton on December 23, 1954, and he died on their 66th wedding anniversary, December 23, 2020. Mrs. Staton worked in her family's business, Pine Bluff Truck and Trailer Manufacturing for 30 years, and retired in 1998. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church at White Hall. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, M. H. Krisell, Jr. (Maureen), J. W. "Dub" Krisell, James M. Krisell, and Paul W. Krissell; and a sister, Lynda Ruth Krisell. Survivors include his children, Kenneth Staton (Debbie), Kathryn Wilson (Jim), and Renee Greenlee (Mark) all of Pine Bluff; grandchildren, Randall Staton (Sarah), Robert Staton (Perry), Regina Thompson (Juston), Justin Wilson (Megan), Jonathan Greenlee (Katie), and Adam Greenlee, all of Pine Bluff, Rustin Staton (Vanessa) of Tallulah, La., and Jason Wilson (Amanda) of Austin, Ark; great-grandchildren, Cody Staton, Ariel Staton, Akasha Staton, Eva Staton, Chase Smith, Ehren Wilson, Caleb Wilson, Carly Greenlee, Olivia Greenlee, and Nora Greenlee; two brothers, Ralph Krisell (Gloria) of Fremont, CA and David Krisell (Ann) of Sherwood; and sisters-in-law, Willie Krisell of Conway, Chris Krisell of Benton, and Sammie Krisell of Vilonia. Funeral services for both Mr. and Mrs. Staton will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021, 2 p.m., at Watson Chapel Baptist Church with Brothers Rodney Castleberry, Mitch Dulaney, Michael Hight, and Tony Crocker officiating. A special letter from Brother Grady Higgs will be read. Interment will follow in Fitzhugh Cemetery by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 p.m., at the funeral home.
