Opal Lea Wilkerson

Opal Lea Burrow Wilkerson, age 83, of Benton, Ark., passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021. She was born April 19, 1937, in Tull, Ark., daughter of the late Dewey Edger Burrow and Ellen Ruth Hicks Burrow. She was the widow of C.J. Wilkerson. Opal was a custodian for Perryville Schools, and a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Benton. She is survived by her children, Steven Ward of Bryant, Janet (Roy) Schuurmans of Bryant, Theresa (Robert) Zuber of Benton and Randy (Rita) Ward of Benton; stepchildren, Levita Hartman, Betty Hutsell, Larry Wilkerson; brothers, Charles (Donna) Burrow, Jimmy (Brenda) Burrow; sisters, Melba Abbott, Margaret (Marvin) Ritchey; sixteen grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her brothers, Curtis and Gene Burrow; sister, Floy Walker; and two granddaughters, Erica Johnson, and Christina Schuurmans.
