Donta D Mays

Donta D. Mays, 42, of England, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Donta was born August 23, 1978, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Benny and Betty Mays. Donta worked at Lennox Industries in Stuttgart, Arkansas. He was a beloved son and a dedicated father. He played keyboard and drums at his church and loved the Razorbacks and the Dallas Cowboys and gaming. He will be remembered as the young man with a contagious smile and a kind heart. He graduated from England High School in 1996 and attended Pulaski Technical College for a short period Donta is survived by his wife, Cametras; one daughter, Krishauna S. Mays; parents, Benny and Betty Mays; brother, Detrick Mays, Sr.; twin nephews, Detrick Mays, Jr., and Austin Mays; and, a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents: Albert (Octavia) Howard and Bennie (Helen) Mays. Visitation is set for Friday, January 15, from 4 to 6 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Wilson-Robison Funeral Home in England, Arkansas.
