Stephen Glenmore Brown died January 11, 2021. He was born May 20, 1930, in Jonesboro, Ark., to Anne Garrett Brown and Joseph Lee Brown. His parents; his wife, Virginia Nelson Brown; his twin brother, John Garrett Brown; his sister, Anne Brown Helvenston and his brother, Joseph Lee Brown Jr. preceded him in death.
His sister-in-law, Dorothy (Dot) Brown; nieces, Susan Brown Norman, Houston, Texas, Laura Ann Wolfe, Del Mar, Calif., Melissa Wolfe, Miami, Fla., Stephanie Brown Kyser and Ellen Helvenston Tolley, Plummerville; and nephews Garrett Shaw Brown, Ft. Worth, Texas, and Nelson Wolfe. San Francisco, Calif., and J. Lee Brown survive him.
Steve was a graduate of Kemper Military School and Yale University. He was retired from the family-owned Archer Wholesale Drug Co. Steve served in the United States Army Germany. The family thanks Jennifer Jackson and her staff for their loving care for Steve for over sixteen years.
