Joyce Marie Dye

Joyce Marie Dye, age 68, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born October 4, 1952, in Vinita, Oklahoma, the daughter of Roy Lee and Betty (Nazworthy) Samples. Joyce was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lincoln, Arkansas. She was a loving wife, devoted mother and a proud grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Velta Stroup and Diana Huffmaster. Survivors include her husband forty nine years Johnny Dye; two sons, Johnny Dye and his wife Linda of Cane Hill, Arkansas, and Donny Dye and his wife Jackie of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; three brothers, Roy Samples and his wife Pamela, Steve Samples and his wife Miranda, and Timmy Samples; three sisters, Cheryl Stogdill, Cathy Russell and her husband Jack, and Pam Raines and her husband Rick; six grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan, Dylan, Madison, Bryce and Peyton Dye; five great-grandchildren, Ian, Eleanor, Lennon, Bentley, and Laylah. Viewing will be held Sunday afternoon from 1:00-5:00 p.m., at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Monday, January 18, 2021, 12:00 p.m., at Prairie Grove Cemetery Pavilion.
