Robert Louis Carter departed this life on Friday, January 8, 2021. He was the second born child to the late James and Veolia Carter on June 26, 1953, in Helena, Ark. He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted wife, Lillie Carter; children, Cedric Carter of Helena, Ark., Robert Carter, Jr. (Jackie) of Jonesboro, Ark., Phyllis Pratt (Lasalle) of Memphis, Tenn., Leotis (Demetrius) Rodgers of Mckenney, Texas, Nataki (Edward) Durham of North Little Rock, Ark., Eddie (Sherita) Gilliam, Jr., of North Little Rock, Ark. He is also survived by two sisters, Barbara Carter-Hayes of Helena, Ark., and Stephanie Carter Davis of Omaha, Neb.; one aunt, Cleoia Fredrick, of Chicago, Illinois; seven grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Family Hour Friday, January 15, 2021, 6-7 p.m. Funeral service Saturday, January 16, 2021, 11 a.m., with both services held at the funeral home.
