Arleta Yvonne "Nanny" Taylor 78, of Rogers, died Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. She was born April 7, 1942 in Lenora, Kan., to Joseph Butler Williams and Claudine Joy Eaton Williams. She retired from Pel Industries in Rogers. She enjoyed sewing, making quilts and had made 20 quilts for family members this last Christmas; she loved her God, her family, and the many children through the years who called her "Nanny". She was a member of the Pea Ridge Church of the Nazarene where she taught Sunday School, Bible School, and was Youth Leader for many years. She is preceded in death by her parents; the parents who raised her, "Papa" Charlie Giehart and "Grammy" Carolyn Giehart; one granddaughter Emmaline Hayes; one great-granddaughter Harper Hayes; two brothers Jerry and Tommy Wiliams; one sister Anita Edwards. Survivors are one son, Lonnie Taylor (Kim) of Rogers; two daughters Vicki Day (George) and Chryll Hayes (Wade) all of Pea Ridge; silblings John Williams of Sun City, Ariz., Gary Gierhart (Rachel) of Vernal, Utah, Larry Gierhart of Grand Junction, Colo., Anna Johnson and Arlene Bush both of Sun City, Ariz., Angela Diedrick of Salt Lake City, Utah and Ally-Kay Morrow (Larry) of Lockport, N.Y.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pea Ridge Church of the Nazarene, P.O. Box 206, Pea Ridge, Ark., 72751.
