Edna Louise Doughty

Edna "Louise" Newkirk Doughty, 92, of Little Rock, passed away January 20, 2021. She was born on January 2, 1929, in Little Rock, to John Jefferson Presley and Lovie Cecil Hensley Presley. Louise was a member of Mabelvale United Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and camping. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and father of her children, Albert Leroy Newkirk; husband, Norman Doughty; grandson, Jason Frank Newkirk; brother, John C. Presley and sister, Dorothy Marshall. Louise is survived by three sons, John Newkirk (Sharon); James Newkirk (Joyce); Jeff Newkirk (Debbie); seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves several nieces and nephews to treasure her memory. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander with Rev.
