Linda Marie Pomeroy

Linda Marie Pomeroy, 65, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 25, 2021. She will be fondly remembered as a woman of unshakeable faith. She was an organist at the First Pentecostal Church and enjoyed teaching her many piano students throughout the years. She was also a mentor to young ladies and young mothers. She was blessed with a true gift of hospitality. Entertaining in her home brought her so much joy. She always wanted a big home so she could offer a Wayside Inn for weary travelers. Linda is survived by her husband of 47 years, Seth Pomeroy. She leaves behind a legacy of children and grandchildren: daughters, Sharon Townley (Pastor Wade Townley) and Kara Cypert (Samuel); son, Seth T. Pomeroy (Chelsea); 12 grandchildren, Tavia, Tandice and Taegan Townley; Shayna, Myles, Alayna and Myla Cypert; Mary Grace, Abigail, Jane Claire, Charlotte and George Oliver Theodore Pomeroy. She is also survived by her sister, Sheila Haymon (Ronald) and brother, Clyde Kazmir (Linda); and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Kazmir and JoAnn Sorrrells Kazmir; and a brother, Henry "Buddy" Kazmir. Linda was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock. She greatly enjoyed being a part of the Kingdom Builders Volunteer Group. She had an amazing gift of making newcomers feel welcome and at home. She was an avid Instagrammer...oh and don't forget those hashtags! #queenofhashtags She took great delight in being Nana to her 12 wonderful grandchildren. She made her home a fun place for them to come play and always had lots of their favorite snacks on hand. She will be greatly missed but we have wonderful peace knowing that her legacy will live on through her children and grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 p.m., Friday, January 29, 2021, at the First Pentecostal Church, 1401 Calvary Road in North Little Rock. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m., at the church.
