Sharon Ann (Leeder) Vajda, 76, passed way on July 13, 2021, after a courageous battle with Glioblastoma. Her illness ended in rejoicing, because she went to heaven on her beloved husband Albert's birthday. His birthday was also one day after their anniversary. What a reunion that must be. Sharon was born to Frank and Lorrayne Leeder in Stoughton, Wisconsin, on February 18, 1945. She graduated from Evansville High School, attended University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned a degree in Psychology. After graduation in 1967, she moved to Chicago, Illinois, and worked for Arthur Anderson & Company for 19 years. During which time she met and married Albert Vajda in 1980. They "retired" to Greers Ferry, Arkansas, in 1986. She worked for Community Water System in Greers Ferry, Arkansas, until she and Albert started Lake Real Estate in 1992, which they successfully ran as a team for 18 years until Albert's battle with Leukemia forced them to sell the business. Sharon was very active in the Church, loved to golf, play bridge with her "girls", work in her yard, and go shopping and junking with her best buddies, Mary and Virginia. Left to cherish Sharon's memory are her sister, Diane (Terry) Allen of Evansville, Wisconsin, brother, Steven (Mary) Leeder of Evansville, Wisconsin, nephews; Mark (Kayla) Spanton of Peoria, Arizona, Michael (Molly) Leeder of Evansville, Wisconsin, niece, Kristi (Jon) Bjoin of Janesville, Wisconsin, her "grandchildren"; Alexa, Weston, Will, Charlotte, Rafe, Kane, stepchildren; Albert Michael (Elizabeth Ann) Vajda III of New Jersey, Stephen Vajda of California, Allison (Rick) Robb of Albuquerque, New Mexico, step-grandchildren; Albert Michal IV, Jack Henry Vajda, Isaiah Robb, Archie Robb, sister in law, Marianne (Tom) Horan of Georgia, and other extended family and many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert, both parents, brother-in-law, Paul Vajda as well as several of her best and much loved four-legged friends. She will be greatly missed and held in loving memory by many. Services will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made in Sharon's honor to your local Humane Society, Arkansas Hospice, or the National Glioblastoma Foundation.
