Joyce Beason Parker

Photo of Joyce Beason Parker
Joyce Beason Parker, met her Savior face to face on Wednesday, July 14. She was the very essence of a southern lady who loved God and her family fiercely and unconditionally. She often said she didn't accomplish as much as her beloved husband of 65 years, Floyd L. Parker. But the truth was he, nor any of the rest of her family, could have accomplished anything if it wasn't for Joyce's unwavering love, encouragement and servant's heart. She held many titles in her life, but CEO of the Parker household was her favorite. She was her family's prayer warrior and biggest and loudest fan. She joins her husband, Floyd, and their two children, Kyle Beason Parker and Kristi Lee Parker Norris in Heaven; and her parents, Lawrence and Annie Beason. She is survived by her youngest child, Kara Suzanne Hyatt (Byron); six beloved grandsons, Kyle Norris (Madison), Andrew Norris (Charis) and Nick Norris, all of Fort Worth, Zach Hyatt (Ashley), Boone Hyatt (ChristieRaye), and Parker Hyatt (Emily). Her great-grandchildren, who were the lights of her life, Blakely, Kaden, Sam, Jack, and Lexi Hyatt, Lydia and Owen Norris, and Charlie and Ruth Elizabeth Norris. Service will be held Sunday July 18, 2021, 2 p.m., at Regency Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Oakridge Cemetery. Pall bearers will be her six grandsons. Honorary pall bearers are Mark Burris, Mark Kindy, George McClure, Jr., Chris Williams, Claud Davis, and Wayne Nugent. Special appreciation to her two beloved caregivers, Valerie Dickerson and Shakena Tuggle. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Life Point Church, 25741 Hwy 67, Malvern Ark., 72104. Arrangements by Regency Funeral Home. Sign the guest book at: regencyfuneralhome.com.
