William Keith Nutter, Jr., born March 30, 1937, made a peaceful transition to his spiritual home on July 15, 2021. Bill, a long-time resident of Hot Springs Village, moved there upon his retirement from State Farm Insurance Company in Lafayette, Louisiana. He, along with the love of his life, Judy Palmer Nutter, enjoyed 20 plus years of wonderful friendships in the Village. Bill grew up in southeast Arkansas, attended schools in Hamburg and Crossett, and was a graduate of the University of Arkansas. Upon graduation and a short stint in the military, Bill and Judy married and began a 60 year love affair that was never diminished by the tragic death of their first daughter. They went on to raise three daughters, Ashley, Lesley, and Karis, each a "favorite" in Bill's eyes. Bill was a dedicated mentor to many who worked for him during his 38 years with State Farm, many who openly credit him for their success in advancing their careers. Bill gave freely of his time as a volunteer at Jackson House, Meals on Wheels, as well as his church. An avid golfer, Bill played some of the best and most beautiful courses in the country, but always enjoyed Village courses best. Bill was a member of the HSV Razorback Club, serving as past President and board member, never missing an opportunity to "Call the Hogs". Bill was predeceased in death by his parents, Keith and Anna Cooke Nutter, and their daughter, Lori Ann. He is survived by his wife, Judy, and daughters, Ashley Nutter, Lesley Nutter, and Karis Duhon (Randy), grandchildren, Lori Ann, Noah Keith, and Presley Ann, great-grandchildren, Kennedi Rose and Grace Elena, his sister, Martha Nutter Rasche, nephew, Alan Keith Adams and bonus daughter, Debbie Johnson. A Celebration of Life will be held at Village United Methodist Church, 200 Carmona Rd. in Hot Springs Village, on Friday, July 23, 2021, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Village United Methodist Church or Arkansas Hospice.
