Martha Janette Ulmer Lovell

Martha Janette Ulmer Lovell, age 79, of Benton, passed away Monday, July 19, 2021, after a short battle of AML Leukemia. Janette was born June 6, 1942. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Morgan and Fay Delle Wright Ulmer and brother, Freddie (Ron) Ulmer. She attended Fern Eaton Beauty College in Little Rock where she received her cosmetology license. Janette worked at Carousel Hair Fashions for 50 plus years, where she met some of her lifelong friends. She had a love for shopping and finding a deal, traveling, eating out, and spending time with her family. Janette was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. Everyone who knew Janette thought of her as one of the sweetest ladies around that just loved life! She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted son Chris Williams of Benton; her loving grandchildren, Sophie Williams, Ross Grant, and their mother Tiffany Williams; her companion of 30 plus years, Kenneth Adams; two sisters, Sondra Ulmer Fairchild of Benton and Beverly Ulmer Loeschner (Marshall) of Snowflake; sister-in-law, Marcia Ulmer; two aunts, Carolyn Rushing (Anthel) and Gloria Sims (Waymond); special family friends, Nancy Wood and Reid Mobley; and many other family members and friends who loved Janette and will miss her always. Pallbearers will be Mike Sheridan, Keylon Green, Kelly Don Shamblin, Jake Sky-Eagle, Anthony Rushing, and Bracy Atkinson. Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m., Thursday, July 22, at Ashby Funeral Home with services beginning at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at New Rosemont Cemetery. The family would like to thank Jennifer and Christine from Kindred Hospice for taking special care of her in her final days.
