Gary Wayne Ingram

Gary Wayne Ingram, 76, of Scotland, Ark., departed from this world on Wednesday, July 21, 2021. His journey began on September 6, 1944, in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. He was born to the late Carl and Ellen Ingram who resided in Ewing, Illinois. Gary was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War. After serving his country he went on to work for Hascro Track Technologies for over 30 years. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and going mudding. He loved drinking coffee and cutting up with his friends. Gary's most precious times were spent with his family. He was a wonderful and loving father, grandfather, and great grandad. He was a selfless man and loved giving and helping his beloved community of Scotland. Gary will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Left to honor his memory are his children, Kenneth Ingram and wife, Tonya, of Cabot, Ark., Dwayne Ingram of Fayetteville, Ark., Amanda Lindsey and husband. Tommy. of Scotland, Ark., Brandie (B.J.) Parsons of Morrilton, Ark.; siblings, Mark Ingram and Marion Nipper both of Ewing, Illinois, Ken Moore of Indiana, and Jim R. Ingram; grandchildren, Kortney Ingram, Merianda Capps, Joseph Capps, Chaylon Gifford, Kennsie (Red Neck) Parsons; great-grandchildren, Zaley, Marlie, Zander Diefenbach, Landon, Madison, Taylor, Luzas Ingram; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and other family members. Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Ellen Ingram; his birth mother, Katherine Compton of Owensville, Indiana; one brother, Steven Ingram of Scotland, Arkansas, and one granddaughter, Kristian Ingram of Thompsonville, Illinois. Visitation will be Saturday, July 31, 2021, from 9-11 a.m. at the Ozark View Funeral Home Chapel; a graveside service will follow at 12 p.m. at the Foster Cemetery in Scotland, Ark.
