Mary Adalyn Chambers, 92, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021. Mary Adalyn was born on Jan. 14, 1929, to Maurice and Adeline Long in Little Rock Ark. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Brooks B. Chambers, Jr., and grandson, Bryan Hemphill. She is survived by her children, Bonnie Owens (Doug) of Mandeville, La., Rosemary Hemphill (Tom) of Maumelle, Ark., and Robert Chambers (LuAnn) of Jasper, Ga. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A lifelong devout Catholic, Mary and her husband were members of Our Lady of Holy Souls Catholic Church for the duration of their married life. They also enjoyed camping and activities with the antique car club of Ark. Mary derived great satisfaction from her job as a medical transcriptionist before retirement. She was devoted to her family and they will cherish all the memories of their mother and grandmother. The family would also like to thank the caregivers especially Christine Frazier for the devotion and care they gave their mother for the last five years. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's Association. Visitation will be 5 until 7 p.m., Thursday, with the Rosary service at 7 p.m., in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th Street, Little Rock, (501) 661-9111. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Friday, July 30, 2021, at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Church, Tyler and I Streets, Little Rock, 72205. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
