Nada Knighton Clement, 95, of Pine Bluff, loved gardening, sewing, and making crafts. She passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021. Nada was born March 5, 1926, in Stamps, Arkansas, to the late Clarence Robert and Evie L. Andrews Knighton. Nada was reared and educated in Stamps, graduating from Stamps High School. She went on and received her B.A. at Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia. Nada moved to Pine Bluff in 1947, and then moved to the Sulphur Springs community in 1979. She spent most of her life as a homemaker, wife, and mother, and also worked as a substitute teacher for Pine Bluff Elementary schools for 15 years. Nada was a member of First Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church, and member of the Eastern Star No. 583. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, James Caldwell "Toots" Clement, whom she married May 16, 1947, and who passed away December 26, 2014, grandson, Micah Styles, brothers, Keith Knighton, and Clarence Homer Knighton, and sisters, Evelyn Rogers, Thelma Wright, and Jean Young. Nada is survived by one son, Billy Clement (Barbara) of Pine Bluff, two daughters, Carolyn Styles (Gary) of Lubbock, Texas, and Glenda Treanor (Doug) of Oxford, Mississippi, five grandsons, Brad Clement (Lynette), Jared Styles (Suzanna), Nathan Styles (Ashley), Bryan Treanor (Nicole), and Spencer Treanor, four great-grandchildren, two step-great- grandchildren; three step-great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ola Hooper, and Erma Aldridge, and three sisters-in-law, Ann Spears, Marnelle Clement, and Joyce Knighton. Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m., Saturday, at the Chapel of Ralph Robinson with Rev. Robert Cossey officiating. The service will be live streamed for anyone unable to attend. Burial will be in Clement Cemetery at Grapevine, Arkansas. Visitation will be 1-2:30 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home.
