Carolyn Sue Reed Tucker, 70, of Pine Bluff, Ark., went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Christus St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana, Texas. Mrs. Tucker was born July 11, 1950, in Pine Bluff, to the late Ray and Odessa LaVerne Domon Reed. Mrs. Tucker moved around a lot as a youngster attending many different schools. She received her GED in Pine Bluff. She was a homemaker most of her life but had worked as warehouse manager and payroll personnel for a contracting company at International Paper Company, currently Evergreen Packaging. She was a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Star City. She was a Sunday School Teacher for over 40 years and loved telling everyone about the love of Jesus. Mrs. Tucker was an amazing artist who enjoyed oil painting and teaching others how to paint. She also enjoyed crafting. Her survivors include her husband of 44 years, Edward Lee Tucker, whom she married April 1, 1977, in Pine Bluff, two sons, Richard D. (V) McVay of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Bobby McVay of Pine Bluff; two daughters, Carolyn Denise (Allen) Wood of Sheridan, Arkansas, and Amy Tucker (Bull) Ross of Monticello, Arkansas; four brothers, Ray Reed, Jr. of Burleson, Texas, James (Wanda) Reed of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Mike (Patti) Reed of Fountain, Florida, and Delbert (Leigh) Reed of Houston, Texas; a sister, Donna (Ralph) Edwards of Pine Bluff; 13 grandchildren, Tommy (Katie) McVay, Richard Lee (Taylor) McVay, Daniel (Caitlyn) McVay, Casey (Brent) McKay, Haley McVay, Jonathan McVay, Jake McVay, Courtney McVay, Brooklyne McVay, Brent (Amanda) Wood, Michael Wood, Carlton Talley, and Delaney Claire Ross; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three sisters, Francis Mae Reed, Alice Faye Reed, and Joyce LaVerne Reed. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 17, 2021, 5 to 7 p.m., at Robinson's. Graveside funeral services will be Friday, June 18, 2021, 1 p.m., at Pleasant Springs Cemetery with Reverend Burt Thomas officiating by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors. Pallbearers will be Bobby McVay, Carlton Talley, Ray Reed, James Reed, Mike Reed, and Delbert Reed.
