James Stanley McGehee

James Stanley McGehee, 59 of Elkins passed away February 23, 2021 at his home. He was born January 24, 1962, in Joplin, Mo., to James and Madie McGehee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tammie McGehee; stepdaughter, Cheyenne Chenoweth; two nieces, Mandy Kilpatrick and Michelle Hickman; father, James McGehee; stepfather, Dennis Turley; grandmother, Jonsie Dean. He is survived by his son, James McGehee of Fayetteville; three daughters, Tina Andrews of Springdale, Nichole Jackson and husband Brian of Lincoln, and Heaven McGehee of Springdale; mother, Madie Spence and husband Richard of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Lucus, Neveah, Evie, London, Lilly, Maisie, Melody, Jedidiah, Benjamin, Oliver, Ragnar, Gunner and Gabriel; two brothers, Johnny McGehee of Kentucky and Randy McGehee of Fayetteville; and two sisters, Kathy McCool of Fayetteville and Gloria Rogers and husband Ben of Oak Grove. Family will receive friends from 11-12 p.m., Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Living Faith Church in Fayetteville. A funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. with Pastor Steven Curtis officiating. Private burial will be held at the Fayetteville National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James McGehee, Brian Jackson, Nick Briggs, Tristan Hickman, Hunter Hickman and Taryll Henry.
