Donnie Gene Crossett, 86, of Pine Bluff, Ark.,, went to be with the Lord Friday, March 26, 2021, at Jeffferson Regional Medical Center. Mr. Crossett was born September 1, 1934, in Jefferson County, a son of the late Lester Vernon and Opal Dennard Crossett. He grew up in Jefferson County (Providence Community area), and graduated from Watson Chapel High School in 1952. Mr. Crossett managed Watson Chapel Water Association for 22 years, retiring from there in 1999. He was a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and was a member of the Jacob Brump Masonic Lodge # 160 F. & A.M. He was a former member of the White Sulphur Lodge #122. During his free time, he loved spending time with his family, hunting and fishing. His survivors include his loving wife of 68 years, Beverly Eubanks Crossett, whom he married August 2, 1952, in the Sulphur Springs Community; his daughter, Jane (Jeffery) Bruns of St. Robert, Mo.; twin sisters, Winnie Hope of Russellville, Ark., and Lennie Laux of North Little Rock; sister, Natalie Koonce of Allen, Texas; sister-in-law, Gloria Crossett of Arlington, Texas; six grandchildren: Scott Bruns, Kathryn Clemens, Rebecca Stubblefield, Robert Bruns, Sarah Crossett, and Elizabeth Miller; four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons: Scott Crossett and Harry Crossett; two sisters: Naomi McCann and Betty Green; and a brother, Vernon Glenn Crossett. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 28, 2021, 2 – 4 p.m., at Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, March 28, 2021, 2 p.m., in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son, with Chaplain Jeffery Bruns officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery.
