Janice Yvonne Watkins

Janice Yvonne Watkins, 76, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021. Janice was born September 21, 1944, the only child born to Pauline Strickland and Robert Bruce Strickland, Jr., who passed away before her birth. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by Lewis Willis, who stepped in as her father her for many years; and recently by her loving husband of over 50 years, Pat Watkins. Survivors include her only child, Ken Watkins (Michelle); grandsons, Harrison Watkins (Lindee) and Tanner Watkins, all of Hot Springs, and many other special relatives. Janice was a lifelong resident of Stuttgart and was employed at Drummond Printing in earlier years. She could keep a conversation going for hours and loved spending time with her family. Visitation is 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Friday at Turpin Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 2 p.m. at Lone Tree Cemetery.
