Sergeant Gerald Ray Price, 61 years old, passed away May 11, 2021. A much beloved son, nephew, brother, cousin, uncle, and adopted PawPaw. Born May 13, 1959, in Pine Bluff, Ark., to Reola Butler Price and the late Sammy Lee Price. Grandparents the late Eugene Butler and the late Seressa Butler. Gerald graduated from Dollarway High School. Shortly after graduation enlisted in the U. S. Army, where he was a sergeant, served 20 years active duty and National Guard Delta Company 299th Engineer. Fondly known as Coach Price by Brown Little League Baseball Team and Eastside Panthers Little League Football Team. A board member of the Pine Bluff Northern Baseball League. He leaves to cherish his precious memories a loving family: Reola Smith, mother; three brothers, Darrion Price (Debra), Frederick Price Sr. (Paula), and Willie Smith Jr., (Tangie); two sisters, Cerise Price-Harry and Alicia Jones (James); two aunts, Ruthie Robins (Arzell), and Addie Arbor; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, a godson, and his special young people who called him PawPaw. A walk-through viewing will be held 5-6 p.m. Tuesday, May 18th, at Brown Funeral Home Pine Bluff, Ark. The Homegoing Celebration will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 19th, at Highland Ministries 1320 Peach Pine Bluff, Ark. Interment in Graceland Cemetery V.A. Section Pine Bluff, Ark.
