Helen Ruth Foley, age 90, passed from this life on Sunday, May 23, 2021. She was born on August 10, 1930, in Clay County, Ark., to Robert and Grace Williams. She moved to Des Arc with her father and siblings after the death of her mother. She lived there until she moved to Little Rock in the late 1950's. Helen worked at Westinghouse until she retired. She enjoyed traveling with the Keenagers, reading and volunteering with her church group. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in North Little Rock and was loved by her church family. Helen was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed sewing for her friends and family. She began by making dresses for her sisters-in-law out of flour sacks and made clothing for her daughters and granddaughters. She was also the best dumplin' cook you could ask for and the grandmother everyone wished they had. Helen will be missed by everyone that knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul Foley, brother, Bud Williams, grandsons, Jimmy, and Michael Pearrow, son-in-law Bill Baker, and granddaughter-in-law, Elizabeth Baker. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Baker, Donna Harrison (Jim), and Carla Fugate (Allen), her sisters, Jo Jones, and Tiny Wright, grandchildren, Todd Clifton, Jodie Rico (Roger), Candi Sibley, Bill Baker, Jr. (Cricket), Tony Clifton (Erma), Brian Baker, Lela Folsom, Kevin Clifton, and Loryn Fugate, and many great and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, May 27, from 10 to 11 a.m., and services at 11 a.m., at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock.
