Patricia Raney

Patricia Raney, 82, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021. She was born in Boydell, Arkansas, to parents Luther and Robbie Dungan. Patricia worked for the City of Sherwood for many years in the Administration office. Patricia's life was centered on her family and friends. She was a wonderful cook, enjoyed playing Bingo, and going to the Casinos with her friends and family. Patricia was married for 63 years to her beloved husband, Herschel Dean Raney, Sr., who passed away in January 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Luther (Buddy), Tom (Horace), Arthur, and Gary Dungan; sisters, Gladys Greenway and Sharon Li. Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Bobbie Sue Williams and Patricia's sons, Herschel Dean Raney, Jr. and wife Vicki Lee Stancil of Conway, Kenneth Scott Raney and wife Cathy of Hot Springs Village, and Blake Andrew Raney and wife Kim of Burlington, Kentucky; grandchildren, Amelia Stevens, Elise, Kara, Kyle, Kristen, Bryce, and Ashley Raney; great-grandchild, Eleanor Raney. Funeral service for Patricia will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 8, at the Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland Ave., Sherwood.
